Data source and license
Hachiquant's figures are processed from the securities reports and other filings that companies submit to EDINET, the Financial Services Agency of Japan's electronic disclosure system, retrieved through the EDINET API. That content is published under the Public Data License (Version 1.0) (PDL1.0), which allows reuse, including commercial reuse, with credit.

Created by Hachiquant by editing information from the EDINET Viewing (Submission) Site (https://disclosure2.edinet-fsa.go.jp/)
Hachiquant extracts the figures from the filings' XBRL data, maps them to standard lines across accounting standards and computes the ratios. They are not the government's unedited data, and neither the Financial Services Agency nor any other government body created, endorses or checks Hachiquant or its figures.
The filings, as each company submitted them, are the authoritative record. Every figure links to its filing on EDINET while the filing is in its public viewing period; where our figure differs from the filing, the filing is right. Fixes we have made are listed on Data corrections.
Terms of use
- The website, the REST API and the MCP
server (
https://hachiquant.com/mcp) are free and need no account or API key. - The API and the MCP server share a limit of 60 requests per minute per IP address (one MCP call is one request). Over the limit you get a 429 with a Retry-After header; the X-RateLimit-Limit response header shows the current limit. Do not get around the limit (for example by rotating addresses) or interfere with the service.
- Provided as is. We do not guarantee that figures are accurate, complete or current, or that the service stays available, and we may change or stop any part of it without notice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it.
- Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell. Make your own decisions and check figures that matter against the filing.
- The data's only terms are PDL1.0's; we add none. If you redistribute it, credit the source and say it was edited and by whom, as PDL1.0 asks (the credit above is an example). Do not present edited figures as the government's unedited data or as the filing's own text.
- When these terms change, we update the date at the top of this page.
Privacy
- There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email or other details.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and no third-party scripts or fonts.
- Two preference cookies, each kept for a year:
lang, set when you switch language, andtheme, set when you choose a theme. - Your watchlist and saved screens are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us.
- Within the application, your IP address is used only for rate limiting (counting requests per minute), in the server's memory, and is not written to application logs.
- To operate the service, the web server and hosting environment may keep standard technical logs, which can include IP addresses, for a short time. They are used only for security and troubleshooting, never to analyse or track visitors.
- The service runs on a server at Hetzner in Germany. We do not sell or share any data.
- When you use the MCP server from an AI assistant, we receive its tool calls (a ticker or a search term, for example), not your conversation, which is governed by the assistant provider's privacy policy.
